About Me

Expressions From the Heart

I am a member of a non-profit Christian women’s organization. I have had several years of biblical and religious studies at an accredited university. My mission is presenting God’s Word to the world in written messages of encouragements to enlighten the soul with acknowledgements of who God is and what He has accomplished for His human creation. “The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of his calling…” (Ephesians 1:18).

I have a great appreciation and love for God and His Word. I am inspired by the numerous poetic-style verses in the Bible that have encouraged and broadened my mind. I have gained a greater understanding of who God is and what He has said through apostles, judges, kings, priests, and prophets. As king David expressed in poetic metaphor concerning God’s Word, “Your word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path” (Psalms 119:105).

While poetry is rhythmic expressions of the heart written in different styles such as meters, rhymes, stanzas, and free verse, God poetically expresses His Heart throughout the Bible.

My inspiration comes from reading and studying God’s Word, which inspires me to write poetic verses acknowledging and praising God. I have expressed my praises to God in a poetry book titled, A Prayer of Hope.

“This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, said the Lord, I will put my laws in their hearts, and in their minds will I write them” (Hebrews 10:16).
